Ink Pro: Students Who Lead

Each season, select dancers are recognized as Ink Pros—a prestigious honor awarded by our guest faculty during the Ink Intensive. These dancers exemplify exceptional talent, leadership, and dedication both in and out of the studio. As class assistants and positive role models within our studio community, Ink Pros help lead by example and represent the heart of Dance Ink.

Alina Kuzma
Ink Pro

Alina Kuzma is a dedicated 15-year-old dancer whose passion for movement and artistry has been evident from a young age. With a deep love for both ballet and contemporary dance, Alina thrives in styles that challenge her technique, creativity, and emotional expression.

 

Her commitment to growth has taken her to some of the most prestigious summer intensives in the country, including the Chautauqua Institution, The Rock School of Dance, and the Joffrey Ballet. Training with renowned instructors has helped Alina refine her technique, expand her versatility, and strengthen her professional foundation.

 

Alina proudly made her mark as an Ink Pro for Season 6, a role she cherishes. As a leader and mentor, she values the opportunity to guide younger dancers, inspire them, and set an example built on hard work, passion, and integrity.

 

Looking ahead, Alina dreams of joining a professional contemporary or ballet company, where she can continue evolving as an artist and make her mark in the dance world. With her drive, talent, and leadership, Alina Kuzma is undoubtedly on the path toward an exciting and impactful future in dance.

Shelby Emmett
Ink Pro Jr.

Shelby Emmett is a dedicated 11-year-old dancer who has been dancing since the age of four. Shelby participates in a variety of dance classes, including ballet, tap, jazz, acro, hip hop, and musical theater. Her favorite place to be is the dance studio. She continually strives to improve her skills, which earned her a scholarship to Duncan Cooper’s workshop this past August in Largo, Florida.

 

Shelby’s selection as Ink Pro, Jr. is a true honor. She is humbled that her hard work and dedication led to this achievement. In her role as Ink Pro, Jr., she hopes to guide and mentor younger dancers. Shelby works diligently every day, both in dance and in her academics. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for dance with others.
