Ink Pro's: Students Who Lead

Each season, select dancers are recognized as Ink Pros—a prestigious honor awarded by our guest faculty during the Ink Intensive. These dancers exemplify exceptional talent, leadership, and dedication both in and out of the studio. As class assistants and positive role models within our studio community, Ink Pros help lead by example and represent the heart of Dance Ink.

Chloe Dess

Chloe Dess is a passionate 13-year-old dancer who has dedicated herself to the world of dance since a young age. With a love for both jazz and ballet, Chloe’s talents shine across multiple dance styles. Her commitment to honing her craft has led her to attend prestigious summer intensives, including Ballet Hispanico and Gus, where she’s had the opportunity to learn from top-tier instructors and develop her technique even further. 

 Chloe made her mark as an Ink Pro during Season 4, and her role means the world to her. As the Ink Pro for Season 5, Chloe embraces her position as a leader and mentor to younger dancers, taking pride in being someone they can look up to. She understands the importance of inspiring others and works hard to set a positive example for her peers. 

 Looking ahead, Chloe dreams of joining a professional ballet company and pursuing a career in dance. She also hopes to be a part of a college dance team, where she can continue to grow as a dancer and contribute to a team dynamic. With her drive, talent, and leadership, Chloe Dess is well on her way to achieving her dreams and making a lasting impact in the dance world.

Lexi Schmidt

Lexi attended the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s 2024 August Intensive, where she continued to develop her passion and technique. Her favorite styles of dance are Ballet and Contemporary, and this season she is especially looking forward to performing The Sleeping Beauty ballet and participating in YAGP.

As an Ink Pro, Lexi strives to be someone younger dancers can look up to—serving as a role model who embodies the core values of Dance Ink and represents what it truly means to be a committed and passionate artist within our studio community.
